プレイアジアで新しいN64の変換アダプタ売ってた。
しかも割と安い。試しに買ってみる。

最新のファームウェア4.0でトワイライトハックが対策され
Homebrew（自作ソフト）の実行が難しくなっていたWiiですが
新たに見つかったExploitで自作ソフトを実行することができる
通称”bannerbomb”のアルファ版がリリースされました！！！

1. Get a SD card. If it has a private directory, rename it temporarily, e.g. to "privateold". Having other saved channels on the same card will screw it up.
2. Download aad1f_v102.zip and unzip it onto the SD card.
3. Get a DOL or ELF and put it on the SD as /boot.dol or /boot.elf.
4. Press (Wii), Data Management, Channels, SD. Then insert the card. It should either pop up Load /boot.dol? or freeze.
5. If it pops up a dialog, then fill out the survey.
6. If it freezes, follow these diagnostics:
- Did you use the SD menu (4.0) or click Savedata instead of Channels? If so, then you're dumb
- Otherwise, try a different version. The system menu is somewhat unpredictable; while most people should be able to use aad1f, some might need another version. Try these versions:

やり方を簡単に書くと

1. 適当なSDカードを用意。もしSDカード内に「private」フォルダがある場合は「privateold」などと適当にリネームする。

2. ダウンロードしたaad1f_v102.zipを解凍するとでてくる「private」フォルダをそのままSDカードのコピー

3. 実行したいHomebrewをSDカードのルートにboot.dolまたはboot.elfとして保存

4. Wiiのメニューから「Wiiオプション」→「データ管理」→「Wiiチャンネル」を選択、SDカードタブを選択し画面に「Load /boot.dol?」とメッセージが表示されれば成功。ハングするようなら別のファイルでもう一度試す

理論上、3.x～4.0までの本体で動作するようです。
これまでのゼルダの伝説トワイライトプリンセスのような
特定のソフトが必要というわけではないためSDカードがあれば
すぐに試すことができ大変画期的です。

ただ、今のところ最新の4.0ではHomebrewチャンネルのインストールができないため
複数のHomebrewを管理したい場合はLoadMiiやHomebrewBrowserなどの別の
アプリを使ってくださいとのことです。

GWは休みなくずっと仕事、やっと土日が休みになりました。
家でごろごろしてるのもアレだしどこかでかけてくるかなぁ。

そんなわけで住ノ江練習会に参加してきました。

DV888が本日届きました。
見た目はまんま”Project”。

長いことやっていなかったので今日は棚卸しをすることにしました。

結構前から情報は出ていたもののなかなかリリースされなかった
BootMiiがベータ版として一般にリリース、専用のウェブサイトも立ち上げされました！

先日買ったばかりのDV888に早速傷を付けてしまい涙目なねこかぶです(涙)
さて今日はスピンギアで買った物（＝ヨーヨー）が届いていたので早速開けてみました。

BooMii beta 2がリリースされていました。

BootMii beta 2 (v0.9):
- SD card performance has been improved, decreasing the boot and the NAND backup / restore time
- backupmii accepts fragmented SD cards now, reformatting is not performed anymore. Old NAND dumps are still compatible.
- Introduced the INI variable “BOOTDELAY” to set the timeout for the auto boot feature

The Homebrew Channel v1.0.3:
- SDHC cards are working again
- SD performance has been increased again (regression was introduced in v1.0.2)
- HBC works on all system menu versions now
- Fixed rare hangs when exiting HBC

DVDX:
- Switched back to IOS < 37. While the SDHC problem for apps using DVDX has been fixed in libogc, there were also problems with USB keyboards under higher IOS versions

Installer v0.2:
- Installer now works on newer Wiis with boot2v4 (instead of rebooting at “Press 1″)
- Fixed reading of boot1/2 on Wiis with bad ECC data in that area
- BootMii as boot2 and IOS can now be uninstalled

この更新でBootMiiのアンインストールに対応、最近のWiiに搭載されている
boot2v4でもBootMiiを（IOSのみですが）導入できるようになりました。

あと前回、最新の更新を適用しているWiiだとBoot2に
BootMiiをインストールできないという風に書きましたが
それは勘違いでした。

発売日に買ったWiiが壊れたので新しいWiiに変えたのをすっかり忘れていました（ぉ

2008年中頃以前に出荷された、BOOT1のバージョンがBOOT1b以前のものはBOOT2にインストール可能、
それ以降のBOOT1c以降のものはBOOT2にインストールできないようです。

　
そしてWii Homebrewの要だったTwilight Hack。
4.0で完全に対策＆BootMiiの登場で役目を終えたのか
このたびソースコードがリリースされました。
